WHO'S FRAMING WHO

Regular price €488,00

Arriving in Kanazawa, to the most fabulous train-station!

The building is covered with a glass dome called the ‘Montenashi Dome’. And there's a huge wooden gate, known as the "Tsuzumimon", (meaning "hand drum gate") that welcomes all travellers when they arrive.

Straight away I knew I wanted to capture this arresting structure. But I wasn't alone. People were everywhere, including this one man with his camera.

I waited for him to move out of the way for my photograph, but he was probably waiting for me to do the same. So, I decided to include him as the frame and let him 'win the wait' between us.

This image is a worthy edition to my Japan Collection, titled ‘Who’s Framing Who?’

Let this image, now emblazoned upon the most luxurious silk, inspire you to always find an alternative way through a conflict or impasse. It's all how you frame the situation.
