HEADS OR TAILS

During summer in Norway we fish a lot of mackerel. It is so much fun to get the wiggling creature on the hook! After the catch, we prepare the fish and pan fry or barbeque. Blood and guts everywhere! Mackerel is traditionally eaten with potatoes, sour-cream and cucumber salad. A pleasant reward after the patient struggle for the catch and its gory presentation.

Like fishing, you can never be certain of the outcome. The secret to getting the fish is to try and try again. Be patient, throw out your best line, and take a chance in life. You’ll only grow to be a stronger person for it.
